The latest ranking by the U.S. News and World Report placed Canada first on the quality of life among a list of 60 countries around the globe with a perfect score of 10 out of 10. Citizenship is Canada’s second best asset, with a score of 9.9. According to the report, Canada has a great respect for the human rights, religious freedom, and gender equality.
Canada also received the maximum score for its public education system, safety, and its strong job market. The voters considered that the country has a good public health system and is family friendly. It also ranked high in terms of political and economic stability.
The country of the maple leaf ranked third worldwide in the “open for business” category and fifth for entrepreneurship, based on the transparency of the government, a good infrastructure, educated population and a legal framework which encourages specialists in all fields to develop their businesses.
