Canadian Minister will soon contribute to the Egyptian Educational System

The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) minister,  Ahmed Hussein arrived to Egypt on Monday with one main intention. He hopes to advance all kind of educational exchange opportunities between Canada and Egypt.

The minister paid a visit to the International College (CIC) in Cairo. Magdy Al-Kady, the president of the CIC gave him a warm welcome along with Canada’s Ambassador to Egypt Troy Lulashnyk.

The CIC president admitted that there will very soon be an announcement about launching a Canadian school in Egypt. The building of this Canadian university; University of Canada in Egypt (UCE),  will be done through strong partnership agreements between the education institutions in Canada, including the Memorial University of Newfoundland of Canada.

Multiple academic programs

These collaborations simply guarantee the offer of multiple academic programs and many different postgraduate level programs at the University of Canada in Egypt (UCE).

Memorial University has expressed its happiness and enthusiasm about this giant project in Egypt.

The UCE will be in the new administrative capital city. It will provide accredited degrees from Canadian universities.

The University of Canada in Egypt will have at least five faculties belonging to various academic disciplines and schools. Some of them are: engineering, science, management, arts and social sciences.
