In January the 4th, 2017 some great news for all people willing to immigrate and live in Canada came. Immigration, refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued more than 2,900 Invitations to Apply (ITA) for permanent immigration to Canada.
This has been the largest draw since the launch of this Express Entry in 2015! This system is issued to all the worldwide candidates in the Express Entry pool through a Comprehensive Ranking System score of 468 and above. But, this time, in January 2017, this CRS score dropped below 470!
All candidates, who received an ITA in the first week of January’s draw, can now submit an application for a Canadian permanent residence. Candidates who decide to apply for a Canadian permanent residence through Federal Skilled Trades Class (FTSC), Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC), must first enter the Express Entry pool.
Then, these candidates get a specific CRS score. It is based on the personal collected data. These data include education level and field and civil status. Also work experience, language level and some other criteria. Then, after candidates are ranked according to their CRS score, they should wait for IRCC to conduct draws and invite the highest-ranking ones to submit their permanent residence application.
This first draw of 2017, has filled many candidates with high hopes. It made all speculations come to one single conclusion: Periodic IRCC draws are something that everyone can believe in….
